- Elk velvet antler (EVA) is used in natural medicine to promote circulation, control inflammation, and increase stamina and energy.
- Elk hard antlers are some of the most desired trophies in the world. Craftsmen use elk antlers to create jewelry, knife handles, spectacular chandeliers, and furniture and many other crafts.
- By-products of meat production include ivories, pizzles, sinews, tails and hides. In the right quantities and markets these by-products may be worth more than the entire meat carcass.
With all of these markets available for elk products, elk breeding stock is exceptionally valuable, particularly bloodlines that have demonstrated superior abilities to produce high quality and large quantities.
